How do I pause my newspaper delivery for vacation? As a subscriber, you can schedule temporary holds by visiting account.lansingstatejournal.com, chat online with an agent by clicking on the link below, or calling Customer Service (phone number and service hours are below).

You can opt out of Premium Editions at any time by contacting customer service at 1-800-234-1719. If you do not contact us to opt out of Premium Editions, your receipt and acceptance of the Premium Editions constitutes your consent to these charges and these terms.

Contact the customer service or circulation department of each newspaper you are receiving. You can find the contact information on the newspaper's website or in the newspaper itself. Let them know that you are receiving multiple copies of their newspaper and that you would like to cancel the extra subscriptions.

To decide what types of mail you do and don't want from marketers, register at the Direct Marketing Association's (DMA) consumer website DMAchoice.org, and choose what catalogs, magazine offers, and other mail you want to get. DMAchoice will stop most, but not all, promotional mail.

Contact the company that runs the subscription you want to cancel. If the company has instructions on how to cancel, follow those. Keep a copy of your cancellation request, along with notes about any conversations you had and how and when you canceled. Watch your bank or credit card statements.

Alternatively, it is a good idea to write to the editor of the journal to seek a withdrawal. When writing a letter to the journal editor, make sure to include the title of the manuscript, the names of the authors, and the reasons for withdrawal.
